Beverley Grant

Beverley is an International Coach Federation accredited coach with more than 1000 hours of supporting people to create new insights, develop skills, overcome obstacles and achieve greater career satisfaction.

Regarded for her high integrity and professional skills she is keen to see more people performing to the best of their ability and engaged in their work. One of her clients says “Beverley understands how the needs of the individual and organisation are not always aligned. She has a deft and thorough understanding of senior relationship management, personal effectiveness and organisational culture, but is particularly proficient at bringing out her client’s own knowledge and skills to reach outcomes”. 

Beverley combines significant experience of major business change programmes in a range of sectors with a blend of support and challenge to enable learning, action and the achievement of positive results.

Beverley began her career working for the Probation and Aftercare Service before deciding to pursue a graduate role in industry. She has held senior HR management roles within Blue Chip / Fortune 500 Technology, Retail and Financial Services companies. A generalist by background she specialised in the people implications of major business change projects including joint ventures, major restructures, culture change, acquisitions and outsourcing. She has also been a Human Resources Director for an SME. Beverley has been self-employed since 2004.

Much of her coaching work is with corporate clients, often working with middle to senior managers, senior professionals, aspiring directors or “Top Talent”. She has coached at Board level within large NHS organisations. She also works with individuals who are motiveted to make changes within and outside of work.

Beverley coaches clients to effectively: Handle change and transitions; Manage Stakeholder perception and personal brand; Lead in matrix and transitional environments; Enhance leadership and management style and skills; Secure promotion; Build confidence in a new role; Overcome work related stress, burnout or bullying; Change role.

Based on her own experiences Beverley is a firm believer that life is what you make of it.


Professional Qualifications:

Accredited by the International Coach Federation as an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) since 2007 and Professional Certified Coach (PCC) since 2011 Beverley is also a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development.

Beverley’s interest in Coaching began when she became qualified to lead the Blessing White “Helping Others Succeed” programme in the mid-1990s. She later completed the Coaching Academy Professional Coach Training passing with a distinction. Deciding to apply for professional accreditation Beverley undertook further training with Coach U completing and passing the Coach U Core Essentials of Coaching course followed by achieving Certified Graduate status on their Advanced Coaching programme.  Her most recent coach training was a diploma in Coach Supervision and Mentoring.

Beverley is qualified to use psychometric tools including Strengthscope; Myers Briggs Type Indicator; OPQ and Hogrefe’s Leadership Judgment.

She has a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management and a B.A. (Hons) in English Language and Literature.

Beverley is a Fellow of the RSA (Royal Society of Arts, Manufactures & Commerce), an organisation whose mission is to enrich society through ideas and action
